Historic Halifax

Enjoy a guided walking tour of four historic buildings in Halifax, North Carolina decorated in period decor for Christmas! The nation's birthplace of independence, the historic document Halifax Resolves was signed here in April, 1776, predating the Declaration of Independence by almost 3 months. Our own Wilmingtonian, William Hooper, was there to sign that day!

The Hen and The Hog

Feast on lunch at The Hen and The Hog! This farm-to-table restaurant was opened by a girl-come-home with a desire to revitalize her hometown by restoring the old buildings on Main Street. You will be delighted to see the familiar downtown feel of this venue and see the locally sourced vintage decorative accessories that make it charming.
